I stopped at The Lemon Door in Fennimore on the way to pick up Henry at UW-Platteville for Thanksgiving break. They were mentioned in a post on Driftless Brewing's Facebook page, so I thought I would check them out. I stopped in the morning, but they kindly agreed to make me a lunch sandwich - one of the many advantages of going to a local business instead of a chain. Turned out to be quite the delicious sandwich, with homemade mayo that was made shortly before I had arrived. It was a very cute cafe, offering breakfast bagels, coffee, and a lunch menu. I love sandwiches and am always on the lookout for a good sandwich shop. With fresh mayo and fresh pickled vegetables, it was one of the best sandwiches I have had in a while.
