The installers arrived at 9:36 am on Friday morning; they left around 12:15 pm. Service was extremely professional and courteous! A large portion of the installer time (there was a lead installer and what seemed to be an "apprentice") was spent waiting for the seam glue to dry (picture included below) whereby they waited in their truck.
My plans had been to stay the weekend and paint floor trim / molding but with severe weather warnings in effect, I decided to return home as soon as the installers left.
The kitchen likely won't be fully completed for another month or two (or three? we really only get 1 day of work per weekend and only get to the property about 3 weekends per month due mainly to weather now that it's winter and due to our son being home from college).
We still need to plumb the faucet, install a back-splash (not sure if that will be tile, bead board, or tin ceiling tiles - the jury is still out but whatever it is, it will be white), install the cabinet hardware and put the drawers / doors back on the cabinet frames, install the toe kick trim to the base cabinets, install the floor trim / molding in the little space that requires it, install the pot rack, put up a couple of shelves, install the stove hood vent, purchase and install a stove, and assemble / install the kitchen ceiling fan. Whew!
