Ed approved the purchase and even assembled my (Maggie's) new canopied "porch" swing.
Why? Because I have always loved to swing and yet I want protection from the direct sun on those hot hot days. I thought it would be nice to have outdoor seating for Ed and I to overlook a different view of our yard and the garden we labor over.
I have a birthday coming up and this gift is in lieu of our going out to dinner. Normally, we don't exchange gifts, but I thought this might make a nice exception. So far, it's proven to be wonderful!
Ed likes the new addition to our outdoor seating options, but, unlike me, he's sort of ambivalent to the swinging...
I know you always like to use my swing when you come and visit.
