Lots Can Happen With a Garden In a Month and a Half

This picture of our garden was taken a week ago on July 6. We planted this garden between May 31 and June 7.

With all of the rain we've had this year, the growth has been amazing. I should say, however, that it's not just our vegetable plants that are growing - the weeds are growing as well (if not better). It's hard to stay on top of things.

We've had some harvests and can see where the bigger harvests are yet to come (assuming that we can keep the weeds somewhat at bay).

I'm always amazed at the rate of growth in our Wisconsin growing season.
