Our property came with loads of hunting stands scattered about our back woods; probably 5 or 6 in total (I’m not convinced we’ve found them all). Most of them are pretty nice.
Ed doesn’t hunt. Because of this, he would like to downsize / sell a couple of the stands (our neighbor has even offered to purchase one or two for their property).
I, on the other hand, would like to keep the stands. We have an abundance of deer on our land and in the area. You never know when we may want to harvest 1 or 2 for our own consumption. Also, our son was part of his high school’s trap team. I’m not ready to rule out the fact that he may some day have an interest in hunting. The stands seem as though they’d be a lot of work to get to the back woods and set-up if we ever did change our mind…
With everything else on our plate, I’m guessing we’ve got quite a bit of time to ultimately “decide”.
