I've gathered eggs using my shirt as a "pouch"; I've gathered eggs using the pockets in my sweaters and jackets (which can be dangerous to the clothing if I get distracted and forget they are there); I've gathered eggs using just my hands to juggle and carry the eggs.
All method of egg gathering makes me happy; however, I do enjoy when I take the time and remember to get my basket.
This morning, I noticed the first (if not first two) pullet eggs in and among my first round of eggs (I often go to check several times a day as my hens do not necessarily lay just in the morning).
